Trampled in this tangled foil of mesmerizing youth

Likened to the vipers gaze whose prey it then consumes

Drink the poison from the ivy till it makes a new

Wake then now a monster, villain, that lives inside of you

Cradled cornered cuddled mess with eyes that cut through steel

Seduce this simple minded fool to make believe what’s real

Kiss with lips so ravenous it stops a beating heart

Continue piercing through this body till it breaks apart

A shadow burdened toiled and tried amidst the makers pew

Knelt against the one who lied with anger as his fuel

Spoil the candles rich and poor so sad it’s come to this

Deliberate lies, persistent tries, yet no devil can resist

 I catch your gaze with squinting eyes, awake before we sleep

Warm my core again once more, because these rays run deep

Lift my head up to the clouds and breathe the summer rain

Renew and wash this wretchful soul to relieve me of this pain

Even though this side exits I’ve never thought I’d learn

Her eyes reflect the lies of the image that i earned

So curse my name and tear apart the shadows in my heart

Look again once more my friend, your end is now the start
